- Qualification: BSC or BSE or BIT or MCS or MIT & BE in computer engineering with at least 65% marks or CGPA 3.0 from HEC recognized institute

- Gender: citizens of Pakistan as mentioned against each discipline
- Age: Upto 35 years on 01.07.2018
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches & 5 feet for females min.
- Qualification: BSD / MBBS with post graduate qualification i.e., FCPS/FRCS/MRCP/ MS/MD/ American Board or equivalent qualification in following specialties / disciplines from pakistan / foreign medical college / university recognized by PM & DC; Anesthesiology (male/female), dermatology (male or female), Radiology (male or female), Gynecology (female), Cardiac anesthesiology (male/female), Orthodontics/ Operative/Dental surgery (male/female), Neuro physician (male/female), Cardiology (male/female), Paeds (male/female), Psychiatry (male/female), Cardiac surgery (male /female)
Special Branch - Public Realations
Eligibility
- Gender: Male citizens of Pakistan
- Age: Upto 28 years on 01.07.2018
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches
- Qualification: Masters in Mass Communication / Media sciences / Journalism with 3.0 CGPA or above from HEC recognized institute
Selection Procedure / Procedure:
1. Entrance Test: 10 December 2017
2. Result: For RMOs on 16 Dec 2017 and For other branches 26 Dec 2017
3. Respective test result can be checked from respective PNR and SCs or by visiting PN website: www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk
4. Candidates applying for ''Operation Branch'' have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as per following criteria;
- 1.6 km 8.30 minutes, push ups 2 minutes 10 repetitions, sit ups 2 minutes 10 repetitions, chin ups 2 repetitions in 2 minutes
6. Tests/Interview at ISSB except Medical Branch/RMOs.
7. Personality test at PNR & SCs of Medical branch/RMOs only.
Note: The candidates are advised to get their ear/teeth cleaned from specialist doctor before reporting for medical examination.
8. Medical examination of ISSB/ Personality test qualified candidates at nearest CMH/PNS SHIFA.
9. Interview by PN Selection Board.
10. Final Selection by Naval Headquarters on merit.
Ineligibility
Following are ineligible;
- Rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection board: (a). Twice after Post Graduation, (b). Twice before Post Graduation and once after Post Graduation and (c). Once before Post Graduation and once after Post Graduation.
However, those who achieve even higher qualification i.e., Ph.D and FRCS or equivalent for third chance. This chance is only applicable when there is requirement of Ph.D and FRCS candidates.
- Third chance of ISSB is not applicable for the Operations Branch being the graduate course.
- Twice screened out at ISSB.
- Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance in ISSB (For not recommended candidates).
- Tested within on year validity period as validity of ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/Selection Board stands for one year.
- Dismissed/Removed/Resigned from Government Service
- Convicted by Court of Law for offence involving moral turpitude.
- Declared unfit by Appeal Medical Board.
- Declared medically unfit due to hepatitis B and C (AMB can't be requested)
- Declared unfit by Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board
- Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
- Withdrawn/registered/dismissed from Armed Forces inclusive Academy/ Training Institutes on any ground.
- Married to a foreign national.
- Submitting tampered academic certificates.
- Concealment of information in application form.
- Females in family way
Note: All female candidates are to provide an undertaking stating that ''She will not be in family way at the time of joining and during training time.
Relaxation for Baluchistan Province
- 10% marks relaxation in respective subject qualification.
- 1 year age relaxation in upper age limit.

Note: Application sent directly to Recruitment Directorate at Naval headquarters will not be entertained.
- Online candidates must bring postal order of Rs: 300/- (crossed in the name of Director of Recruitment NHQ Islamabad) on the day of entrance test along with original CNIC and registration slip.
- Candidates will not be permitted to carry their mobile phones during entrance test.
