Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), established in 2009, is imparting quality education at doorstep. AWKUM is looking for dynamic leaders for realizing the new VC's vision for the following faculty and administrative positions on prescribed applications. These leadership positions require a wide range of professional backgrounds with new insights and experiences in order to make AWKUM at Centre of Excellence for teaching research.
The leaders are required to motivate and develop their juniors who would lead the university in the long run and are required to initiate actions and communicate policies and plans, motivate employees with economic and non economic rewards to accomplish tasks; provide guidance by instructing the sub ordinates the way they have to perform their work effectively and efficiently, create confidence and allowing sub ordinates to express themselves; build morale and become morale booster, help create an effective work environment and co ordinate through recording personal interests with organizational goals.

Required Qualification & Experience as Higher Education Commission, Islamabad & Model Statutes of HED:
a. Qualification: Ph.D in relevant field from an HEC recognized university / institution
b. Experience: 10 years teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized university or a post graduate institution or professional experience in relevant field in National or International organization.
Or
5 years post Ph.D teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized university or post graduate institution or professional experience in relevant field in National or International organization.
c. Publications: The applicant must have 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.
2. Treasurer (BSP-20)

Required Qualification & Experience as Higher Education Commission, Islamabad & Model Statutes of HED:
First division Master's degree in Finance, Commerce or Business Administration (with specialization in Finance) with 17 years experience: of accounts in university or a government department or an autonomous organization in pay scale 17 or its equivalent and above.
a. Eligibility: The candidate shall be an eminent professional in the field of financial management, accounting and auditing.
b. Academic Qualification: Masters in Economics, Commerce, Business Admisnistration or Charted Accountancy.
Experience: 15 years wide ranging experience in financial management, accounting, auditing and administration.
3. Auditor (BPS-17)
One Post
Required Qualification & Experience as Higher Education Commission, Islamabad & Model Statutes of HED:
First division M.Com / MBA (with specialization in Accounts) or second class M.Com / MBA (with specialization in accounts with 5 years experience in accounts in a university or a government department or an autonomous organization)

1. Appointment for the post mentioned at Serial no. 2 (Treasurer) will be made in accordance to provision contained in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016, available on website www.pakp.gov.pk/2013/acts/the-khyber-pakhtunkhwa-unoversities-amendment-act-2016/
2. Those applicants who have already applied for post of auditor in response to Advertisement No. 51(2016) dated August 31, 2016 need not to apply again.
3. The candidates serving in Government, semi-government and autonomous bodies should route their applications through proper channel.
4. The selected candidates will be governed by rules / regulation of Abdul Wali khan university Mardan.
5. Only short listed candidates will be called for test / interview.
6. The university reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of post(s) or not to fill nay post or reject any application.
7. Applicants should apply only on prescribed form, available at the Facilitation Center, Garden Campus Abdul Wali Khan University as well as on Website: http://www.awkum.edu.pk/
8. Original receipt of online payment / Demand Draft of 3000/- for the post of Professor and Associate Professor & Rs. 1500 for Treasurer & Auditor shall be submitted in favor of Treasurer. Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan or online payment to Allied Bank Limited Cantt Branch Mardan Code 0273 Account No. 88300322 must be attached with application form.
9. Candidates applying for the post of Professor & and Associate professor must submit four copies of their application forms along with complete set of publications, attested documents and bio-data.
10. Separate application form must be submitted for each post.
11. Attested photocopies of all DMCs, Degrees, Certificates, Experience Certificates, appointment letters, CNIC, research papers and three (3) recent passport size photographs must be attached with application form.
12. Less than 3.00/4.00 CGPA will be considered Second division.
13. Landline Number, mobile number, postal and email addresses must be written on application form. Changes in contact number or postal address, if any, must be intimated in writing to office of Registrar immediately.
14. Eligibility in all aspects shall be reckoned upon closing date of advertisement.
15. All applications must reach to office of the undersigned by the December 10, 2017. Incomplete and applications received after due date will not be considered.
